Looking to connect with our Death Positive community but feeling super burned out? Same bestie. Same.
After getting Covid, the flu, and a kidney infection-oh yeah it’s been a fun three months-I barely know my own name and home address. But I do know one thing, this community is invaluable to me. I’ve made some amazing friends from it and I want to keep nurturing and giving back just as you have all done for me.
So, please join me and the amazing women of The Alpha Society for a night of low pressure mixing and mingling.
You do not need to work in deathcare to attend, just have an open mind and enthusiastic and kind attitude (which I think everyone that I’ve met has had).
There is no agenda for this evening. I repeat. No agenda.
The only thing planned is that I would love for us to open the evening by asking all guests to introduce themselves to the group and say what brought them to the death positive community. If you’re feeling super shy you can whisper your intro to me and I’ll introduce you like an M.C. at a comedy show, but after that you’re on your own (just kidding we are all super cool and nice and supportive).
After that, it's snacks and beverages. The goal is to get to know our community and for me to not catch another illness because I swear I am out of lives and luck and cannot handle another anything.
Space is limited to keep things cozy. Street parking is available.
If you are absolutely jones’ing for some great death educational material, I will have copies of The Death Project’s Mortality Workbook Zine available for purchase. Can’t make the party but still want a copy? Order yours here.
