April 16th is National Healthcare Decisions Day.

To celebrate, we're hosting a Paperwork Party + Potluck on the patio of Eagle Rock Brewery.

Come fill out important paperwork in a convivial, low stress atmosphere with other thoughtful, polite, death positive people.

We'll bring: California advance directives, 5 Wishes, and copies of the Mortality Workbook zine from Death Project Manager. Also, snacks.

You bring: any paperwork - end of life, healthcare, or generally stressful paperwork you've been avoiding - and let's fill it in together. Also, bring any comforting snacks that will make a stressful and mundane task more pleasant.

Death Friends Club is a mortality mixer organized by Mortician in the Kitchen and Death Project Manager - less formal and more social than a death cafe, but still a death positive space to honestly and openly reflect on death and dying.

We aren't lawyers or notaries; merely creating space for supportive and needed conversations.

Leave the shame, bring the carbs, go home with a task crossed off your To Do list and perhaps some new friends.

In celebration of Betty White's 101st birthday, we're saying Happy Birthday Betty at this Golden Girls themed edition of Death Friends Club.

Come meet us on the lanai at Eagle Rock Brewery, Sunday, 1/29 from noon - 1:30.

Dress up in your finest florals and shoulder pads, bring cheesecake, Cuban sandwiches, or a Miami inspired dish to share.

We'll be chatting about:
